This was one of my first portfolio shoots where everything clicked.
Emily (model), Latoya (wardrobe), and I drove out to this park that has a riverside beach at 6 am and it very much so was the magic hour. Mist rolled off the river onto the beach and the sunrise was just peaking through the cliffs. Everything was perfect. I still look back on this shoot fondly, even though these photos are a few years old, because it shows the progression of my photography skills. Even though I am still in love with these photos and love how they came out, there is a marked difference between this photo set and one of my more recent sets like Cotton Candy or Fridicia. This just goes to show that photography is all about evolution. And that your style is always changing, growing, and developing. Hell, I’m excited to see where my photography goes in the next year. I’ll just have too keep shooting and see.
